Electrician Harlow

Privacy notice

This site collects personal data in one place only: the enquiry form. There is no account system, no newsletter, and no advertising network. This notice explains exactly what is collected, where it goes, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who is responsible

The data controller is SEO Dons Ltd, registered at Companies House under number 16766013. Contact us through the contact page about anything in this notice, including a request to see or delete your data.

What the form collects

When you submit an enquiry, these fields are sent:

FieldRequiredWhy
Your nameYesSo an electrician can address a reply to you
Email addressYesThe only contact route we ask for
PostcodeYesTo match the enquiry to electricians covering your area
What needs doingYesSo the quote is for the right job
Which page you submitted fromAutomaticSo we know which pages are useful

We do not ask for a phone number. That is deliberate, and it is the main reason this form is short. If you would rather not be telephoned, you have not given anyone a number to ring.

Who it is shared with

Your enquiry is passed to electricians covering the CM17–CM20 area so they can quote for the work. That is the purpose of the form and the way the site is funded.

Form submissions are handled by Formspree, a third-party form processor, which receives and forwards the message on our behalf. Formspree is a processor acting on our instructions.

Beyond that: we do not sell your details, we do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not pass your data to anyone who is not quoting for the job you asked about.

Legal basis

How long it is kept

Enquiries are retained only as long as needed to pass them on and deal with anything arising from them, and are then deleted. If you ask us to delete an enquiry sooner, we will — that is your right and it does not require a reason.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. There is no advertising network, no social-media pixel and no cross-site tracking here. The site is static HTML with a single form, which is why it loads as quickly as it does.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to our processing it. You can also withdraw consent at any time. Ask through the contact page; we do not charge for this and we do not require a particular form of words.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. You are entitled to do that without raising it with us first, though we would rather have the chance to put it right.

One thing worth knowing about quotes

Once your enquiry reaches an electrician, that electrician becomes a controller of your data in their own right, and their own privacy notice governs what they do with it. We cannot control how a third party handles data after it reaches them. If that matters to you, ask them directly — and note that checking a contractor's registration is a separate and equally worthwhile exercise: how to check an electrician is registered.
